It’s not the jazz it’s “Jazzamor”
“Jazzamor” –is so called creative union of sound engineer Roland Grosch and singer Bettina Mischke, formed in 2001. Minimalist arrangements, Bossa Nova guitar, contrabass, percussion and easily recognized smooth vocal – it’s “Jazzamor”. We can define their manner of performance as “easy listening”. This is very fashionable direction - such music can often be heard in the European clubs.
Well accepted mix of pop, lounge and a jazz with some ethnic infusion - compositions from the last album “Travel” - June, 15 allowed the audience of the Concert - Hall Gallery “SADY POBEDY” to make journey to the cold Antarctica (Icy), and to the meadows of Scotland (Before Too Long), and to the mysterious Tibet shrouded with mystical fog (Tibet), and to solar Martinique (Nuit Magique). We can find almost everything in music: from African rhythms (Hidden Treasure) to disco in retro spirit of 70-s (Easy Game). The basic concept of the album is built on surprisingly easy sound sensations, which does not "burden" the listener. But it is not primitiveness of other groups of the given trend. In “Jazzamor” music and manner of performance you can feel intelligence and high musical culture.
Purity and candour of Roland Grosch and Bettina Mischke music can turn usual evening into holiday of love and fairy show. Visitors of the Concert-Hall of “SADY POBEDY” Gallery have reacted on light and pleasant mix of lounge with Latino elements and jazz with southern temperament – the audience encored twice the easy listening masters. By the end of evening the part of public has moved onto a concert stage, "revving" together with actors.
Romanticism of Odessa resort and magnificent panorama from verandah, - is ideal accompaniment for warm evening and nice people, who gathered in the Gallery “SADY POBEDY” for “Jazzamor” concert.
