“They are so different and however they are together”, – it could be said about a romantic duet “Nepara”.
The duet “Nepara” appeared on the stage in autumn 2002 and at once got itself noticed. The project violated a number of unseen rules of show business. If for no other reason than its participants - an Abkhazian guy, pianist by education Aleksandr Shoua and a tall beautiful woman, who graduated from the State Institute of Theatre Arts and worked as a model in Germany and an actress in a Jewish music legitimate theater "Lekhaim" Viktoriya Talshynskaya were not spotted in society pages either before or after entrance upon the stage and did not long for excessive attention from Mass Media. “Nepara” hardly fits in existent frames. But the audience votes by hrivnas and roubles for Aleksandr and Viktoriya.
For success “Nepara” has enough understandable but professionally written songs – this is a traditional however at the same time not archaic, but popular variety. Moreover, they have enough hits and rare are the lines to listen to which would be a shame for a person with a good taste. These factors are enough for a grand success.
They dropped two albums: “Another family” (2003) and “Everything from the beginning” (2006). Such a time gap between the discs also distinguishes the duet from the pop toss. Without a hurry the duet chose a quality material for the record. But the concert versions of “Nepara” songs quite differ from the album ones. Thus, during performance of the duet in the concert-hall of the Gallery “SADY POBEDY” the admirers got a lot of nice surprises. The audience –from pupils to respectable and dignified people knew the repertoire almost by heart. The played songs were good since they were singed really touching and sincerely. The filled hall felt it, joining in every song.
Aleksandr Shoua: “We try to get over to our audience all that a usual normal person tries to get over to his partner in conversation. When we are on the stage first of all we try to share our emotions with the audience”.
Viktoriya Talshynskaya: “We share those situations with people, which at the present time are very close to a number of them. Once I wrote that if we could help anyone, if our song "Weep and Watch" helped at least one family and if someone considered for a moment, it would be our big victory”.
